O2 Power Enables Gateway Terminals to Transition to Renewable Energy

O2 Power is working aggressively towards increasing its Commercial & Industrial (C&I) portfolio. Adding to our diverse client’s base in this segment is Gateway Terminals India Private Limited (the Indian subsidiary of APM Terminals, one of the world's leading terminal companies). We will supply them with captive solar power from our Maharashtra plants. Maharashtra client base thus widens with this addition.

Parag Sharma, our Founder and CEO said, "Partnering with Gateway Terminals, the Indian arm of APM Terminals, one of the biggest terminal companies in the globe, will be a significant addition to our shipping and logistics portfolio. This intra-state open access structure, where we will supply captive power to Gateway from our solar plants in Maharashtra, will empower Gateway to transform their supply-chain operations, and turn them green and sustainable. At O2 Power, we are committed to furthering the Green Ports ambition of our country, and will continue to help organizations with our green energy solutions tailormade for the end-to-end requirements of the maritime industry."

Expressing happiness at the development, Rakesh Garg, our head of Wind, said, "Terminals are big consumers of power. This makes them an important sector to transition to renewable energy. We are thrilled to be working with Gateway Terminals in their journey to negate their carbon footprint. As we partner with them for their clean energy goals, we commit to delivery excellence and sustainable transformation."
